What is a Raymond mill?

A Raymond mill is a medium-to-fine powder grinding equipment designed for processing non-flammable and non-explosive minerals with a Mohs hardness ≤7 and moisture content <6%. It is suitable for various brittle materials such as limestone, marble, calcite, barite, dolomite, bentonite, kaolin, gypsum, and calcium carbonate. Widely used in mining, building materials, chemical, and metallurgical industries.

What are the advantages of the CRRM Raymond mill?

The CRRM Raymond Mill is suitable for powder processing in the 80~400 mesh range, with a sieve pass rate of ≥95% at 325 mesh. Compared with ball mills, it reduces overall energy consumption by 30~40% and footprint by over 50%. Constructed with wear-resistant materials such as high-manganese steel and alloy steel, the mill is available at only one-third the cost of a vertical grinding mill.

The CRRM Raymond Mill can be custom-designed according to the characteristics of different materials, effectively overcoming the processing limitations of traditional Raymond mills. It now enables the efficient grinding of hard-to-process materials such as silicon carbide, which has a Mohs hardness of up to 9.5.
