CRSF Integrated Sand and Powder Grinding Machine Information Introduction
The CRSF Integrated Sand and Powder Grinding Machine is a multifunctional integrated equipment innovatively developed by Cronus Machinery based on the Raymond mill. It integrates grinding and sand making functions into one unit. Through pre-screening and multi-layer gyratory screener technology, it achieves simultaneous powder grinding and additional fine sand production.

Under the same system power and equivalent energy consumption, the total output of sand and powder can reach 1.5~1.8 times that of pure powder grinding. This equipment is suitable for non-flammable and non-explosive materials with Mohs hardness ≤7 and moisture content ≤6%, such as limestone, marble, calcite, and other ground calcium carbonate minerals. It is widely used in chemical industries including glass, rubber, pesticides, enamel, paint, phosphate fertilizer, and papermaking.
Features and Advantages of CRSF Integrated Sand and Powder Grinding Machine
The Integrated Sand and Powder Grinding Machine mainly consists of grinding and separation system, classification and powder collection system, sand crude product screening system, return material storage system, and fan conveying system. It integrates grinding and sand making functions, featuring high efficiency, energy saving, environmental protection, high raw material utilization rate, and precisely controllable sand-to-powder ratio.
Structural Features
Grinding and Separation System: Includes grinding components such as rollers, rings, and shovels. Internally equipped with double-layer casing inclined plate chute and double-row sand discharge ports. Coarse particles that do not meet fineness requirements are discharged from the main unit as "sand crude product" rather than all being returned for regrinding, achieving sand and powder separation.
Classification and Powder Collection System: The classifier is located above the main unit. By adjusting the rotor speed, the fineness of the finished powder is precisely controlled. The cyclone collector serves as the primary powder collection device, and the pulse bag filter serves as the secondary powder collection and dust removal device.
Sand Crude Product Screening System: Preliminary screening is performed by a pre-screener to remove particles <0.1mm and >2.36mm. A multi-layer square gyratory screener performs classification screening of sand crude product in the 0.1~2.36mm range.
Return Material Storage System: All unqualified products selected by the screening system are returned to the main unit via return conveying equipment for regrinding. Separately set powder storage silos and multiple groups of fine sand storage silos enable storage of finished powder and fine sand products of different size ranges.
Fan Conveying System: Utilizes circulating water-cooled blower and high-pressure centrifugal fan, providing large conveying capacity and effectively reducing equipment failure rate.

Performance Advantages
Dual Function in One Machine: Integrates grinding and sand making functions, simultaneously producing 80~400 mesh powder and 20~120 mesh fine sand.
Energy Saving and High Efficiency: Under equivalent energy consumption to Raymond mills, total sand and powder output increases by 50%~80%.
Environmental Protection: Adopts new sealed roller device with excellent sealing effect. The system operates sealed under negative pressure. Combined with pulse bag filter, no dust leakage occurs, and exhaust emissions far exceed national standards.
High Recovery Rate: Unique return material design achieves nearly 100% comprehensive raw material utilization rate, producing almost no waste or scrap.
Flexible and Controllable: Sand-to-powder ratio is precisely controllable. Fine sand products of different size ranges such as 20~40 mesh, 40~60 mesh, 60~80 mesh, and 80~120 mesh can be produced and flexibly adjusted according to market demand.

Process Flow of CRSF Integrated Sand and Powder Grinding Machine
Raw Material → Crusher → Elevator → Silo → Feeder → Integrated Sand and Powder Grinding Machine → Grinding and Separation → Powder + Sand Crude Product
Crushing and Grinding
Raw material is crushed by a crusher to a particle size meeting the feed requirement of the Integrated Sand and Powder Grinding Machine (≤35mm), conveyed to the silo by an elevator, and then fed into the main unit of the Integrated Sand and Powder Grinding Machine via a belt feeder. Shovels scoop up the material and throw it onto the material layer between grinding rollers and rings for grinding and pulverization.
Sand and Powder Separation
The ground material is blown to the classifier rotor for classification screening. Powder meeting the fineness requirement passes through the classifier and enters the cyclone collector for gas-solid separation, and is then recovered and purified by the pulse bag filter. The settled and collected finished powder is conveyed via scraper conveyor and elevator to the powder storage silo for temporary storage.
Powder → Cyclone Collector → Pulse Bag Filter → Finished Powder → Powder Storage Silo
For coarse particles that do not pass through the classifier, some fall back to the main unit under gravity for regrinding, while others fall under centrifugal force onto the inclined plate chute of the double-layer casing and are discharged from the sand discharge ports on both sides of the main unit, forming an intermediate product (sand crude product).
Sand Crude Product Screening
Sand Crude Product → Distributor Pre-Screener → Gyratory Screener → Finished Fine Sand → Fine Sand Storage Silo
The sand crude product is conveyed by belt conveyor and elevator to a three-way distributor, evenly distributed to the pre-screener for preliminary screening. The pre-screener discharges particles with particle size <0.1mm and >2.36mm as return material, which is sent back to the main unit for regrinding. Qualified sand crude product (particle size 0.1~2.36mm) is precisely screened by the multi-layer square gyratory screener into fine sand products of different size ranges such as 20~40 mesh, 40~60 mesh, 60~80 mesh, and 80~120 mesh. (This process can flexibly adjust screening specifications according to market demand.)

Storage and Return Material
Fine sand products of various size ranges are collected via chutes into scraper conveyors or screw conveyors, and then conveyed by elevators to their corresponding fine sand storage silos, awaiting subsequent packaging. All unqualified products selected by the screening system are returned via return conveying equipment to the hopper and re-enter the main unit for regrinding, forming a closed-circuit cycle, achieving simultaneous production of 80~400 mesh powder and 20~140 mesh fine sand.
Application Scenarios of CRSF Integrated Sand and Powder Grinding Machine
The CRSF Integrated Sand and Powder Grinding Machine is economical with low consumption, dual production in one machine, suitable for sand and powder co-production of most non-metallic minerals such as limestone. The finished products are mainly powder, with fine sand as a by-product. However, for sand and powder co-production that primarily focuses on fine sand products with stringent requirements on sand particle shape, the CRSF Sand Making Machine can be selected, which efficiently produces sand while recovering and utilizing sand making tail powder. Compared with the traditional Raymond mill + sand making machine process, these two integrated solutions offer higher cost performance and greater advantages.
