Before the material enters the bentonite grinding mill, the feed moisture must be strictly controlled. Raymond mills and ultra-fine ring roller mills usually require drying equipment and strict control of feed moisture (≤6%). In contrast, vertical roller mills and ultra-fine vertical roller mills can directly process raw bentonite with moisture content up to 15%. -
Before grinding calcite, it is essential to carry out impurity and iron removal from the raw material. If necessary, an ore washing process can be added to maximize the whiteness of the calcite powder. For higher requirements regarding the whiteness and purity of the final product, a flotation process can be added after grinding for deep purification. -
During limestone grinding mill operation, it is essential to control the feed size (<50mm) and moisture content (<6%), and to incorporate a magnetic separator to ensure the quality of the finished limestone powder. The core grinding components must be made of wear-resistant materials to minimize equipment wear.
