Carbon black grinding mills typically adopt an open-circuit process. For conventional 80~400 mesh carbon black powder, an open-circuit Raymond mill is recommended. For ultra-fine carbon black powder above 400 mesh, an open-circuit ultra-fine ring roller mill is recommended.

Activated carbon grinding requires an open-circuit activated carbon grinding mill, along with safety measures such as dust collection, explosion protection, inert gas protection, and anti-static devices. The moisture content of the raw material must be strictly controlled before grinding (8%~12%), and the grinding chamber temperature must be strictly controlled during operation (≤80°C).
