Project Overview
A mining company in Guangxi with high-quality mineral resources decided to build a large-scale barite powder production line. To meet the stable demand for high-quality barite powder in the petroleum drilling industry, the project set strict requirements for the finished product: BaSO₄ content not less than 95%, specific gravity greater than 4.2, and fineness of 325 mesh. Project Details
Barite Raw Material → Dryer → Feeder → Raymond Mill
Dried barite material is fed into the CRRM1850 Raymond Mill grinding host via the feeder for grinding and pulverization. Given the high hardness of barite, core grinding components such as grinding rollers and rings are made of high-wear-resistant alloy material. This ensures long-term stable operation of the equipment and prevents iron contamination, thereby guaranteeing that the finished barite powder's BaSO₄ content is not less than 95%. The ground barite powder is conveyed by the fan's airflow to the classifier. Through precise control, only barite powder of 325 mesh and finer is allowed to enter the collection system.
Dedicated Dust Collection System (Cyclone Collector + Pulse-Jet Bag Filter) → Barite Powder
The cyclone collector then recovers the majority of the barite fine powder, while the pulse-jet bag filter recovers the barite ultra-fine powder and purifies the remaining dust. The entire process is conducted in a sealed negative-pressure environment, effectively preventing the mixing of soluble salts and ensuring that the soluble salt content in the finished barite powder is below 1%.
