Project Overview

To address the challenge of processing high-moisture bauxite, a refractory materials enterprise in Henan introduced the CRRM1620 Raymond Mill from Cronus Machinery, combined with a sealed drying system. This solution successfully converts bauxite raw material with 15% moisture content into high-value-added 200 mesh bauxite powder, achieving an output of up to 10 t/h.

Project Details

Bauxite Big Bag (15% moisture) → Sealed Drying Room → Mobile Drying Box → Fixed Drying Rack

Bauxite big bags are transported to the sealed drying room using a forklift, where they are manually unbagged, and the material is dropped into mobile drying boxes. The boxes containing bauxite are then placed on fixed drying racks for drying treatment, stably reducing the moisture content of the bauxite material from 15% to 2%, with each batch taking approximately 10 hours.

Pneumatic Conveying via Piping → Raymond Mill

The dried bauxite material is conveyed sealedly into the CRRM1620 Raymond Mill via the pneumatic conveying piping system for grinding and pulverization, with no dust escape throughout the process. The ground bauxite powder is carried by the airflow into the classifier for precise classification. Bauxite fine powder of 200 mesh enters the cyclone collector with the airflow to become the finished product, while coarse bauxite powder is thrown back into the grinding chamber for re-grinding, forming a closed-circuit cycle.

Cyclone Collector → Pulse-Jet Bag Filter → Fully Sealed Big Bag Packaging

Subsequently, the remaining dust in the system enters the pulse-jet bag filter for recovery and purification, and finally, the fully sealed big bag system packages the finished product.
