30,000 T/Y Calcium Carbonate Ultrafine Grinding Production Line in Guangxi
Core Equipment:CRLM Ultrafine Vertical Mill(two)
Processed Materials:Marble(≤10mm)
Production Output:4~6t/h
Powder Fineness:800~1250 mesh
The two CRLM Ultrafine Vertical Mills operate with exceptional coordination and stability. The produced powder, with a fineness range of 800~1250 mesh, exhibits a concentrated particle size distribution, fully meeting the core raw material standards for artificial quartz stone.

Project Overview
A high-tech enterprise in Guangxi specializing in deep mineral processing decided to invest in an ultra-fine calcium carbonate grinding production line for the high-end artificial quartz stone sector. The project's objective was not only to produce ultra-fine powder in the 800~1250 mesh range but also to endow the product with key properties such as low oil absorption and high dispersibility through in-situ surface modification. After rigorous evaluation of technical proposals from numerous grinding equipment manufacturers, the client ultimately adopted the integrated "twin ultrafine vertical mill parallel configuration + integrated modification" solution provided by Cronus Machinery.

Project Details
Marble Raw Material → Crusher → Bucket Elevator → Raw Material Silo → Belt Feeder → Ultrafine Vertical Mill
Crushed marble material is vertically conveyed by the bucket elevator to the raw material silo, then uniformly fed into the CRLM Ultra-Fine Vertical Mill via the belt feeder for grinding and pulverization. The ground calcium carbonate powder is carried by the airflow into a precision classifier for separation. By precisely adjusting the classifier speed, the fineness of the calcium carbonate ultra-fine powder is ensured within the 800~1250 mesh range. Unqualified coarse calcium carbonate powder is separated and returned to the grinding zone for re-grinding, forming a closed-circuit circulation.
Dust Collection System → Surface Activation Equipment → Finished Product Packaging
Subsequently, the qualified calcium carbonate ultrafine powder is separated and collected by the dust collection system. The collected finished calcium carbonate ultra-fine powder then enters the surface activation equipment, where it undergoes modification treatment by adding surface activators. This process endows the finished calcium carbonate ultra-fine powder with excellent characteristics such as low oil absorption, good dispersibility, and long-lasting anti-settling properties.
| Main Equipment | Function Description |
| Crusher | Crushes marble raw material to a particle size of ≤10mm |
| Belt Feeder | Feeds material into the ultrafine vertical mill continuously, stably, and uniformly |
| CRLM Ultrafine Vertical Mill | Grinds marble material (≤10mm) into 800~1250 mesh calcium carbonate ultrafine powder |
| Dust Collection System | Separates and collects calcium carbonate ultra-fine powder and purifies excess dust |
| Surface Activation Equipment | Performs surface coating treatment on calcium carbonate ultra-fine powder to reduce oil absorption and improve dispersibility |
Project Advantages
High Yield and Stability: Utilizes a dual-machine parallel configuration of two CRLM Ultrafine Vertical Mills, ensuring a system output of 4~6 t/h. Maintenance on one unit does not affect continuous production.
Excellent Quality: Combined with a high-precision turbo classifier, it ensures long-term, stable production of 800~1250 mesh (D97) ultra-fine powder with a concentrated particle size distribution.
Upgraded Modification: The production line innovatively integrates ultrafine grinding with surface modification processes, upgrading the product from a "filler" to a "functional material," significantly increasing its added value.
