Project Overview
In active response to the national "Dual Carbon" strategy and to promote the high-value utilization of industrial solid waste, a building materials company under a large steel group in Shandong decided to invest in building a green and environmentally friendly large-scale slag micro-powder production line. The core objective of the project is the large-scale, clean production of high-quality S95 grade slag powder. After a comprehensive comparison of the technology, energy consumption, and operational stability of multiple domestic grinding equipment suppliers, Cronus Machinery was ultimately selected, adopting a large-scale CRLM Vertical Mill as the core grinding equipment solution.
Project Details
Slag Raw Material Silo → Batch Feeder → Vertical Mill
Slag material is fed into the CRLM Vertical Mill via the batch feeder for grinding and pulverization. The ground slag micro-powder rises with the airflow to the classifier at the top for separation. Coarse slag particles that do not meet the 325 mesh (S95) requirement are knocked down by the classifier blades and returned to the grinding table for re-grinding.
Dust Collection System → Discharge Valve → Slag Micro-powder
Qualified slag micro-powder is carried out with the airflow into the dust collection system, where it is separated and collected under centrifugal force, and finally discharged as finished slag micro-powder through the discharge valve.
