Project Overview
A green building materials company under a large steel group in Guangxi, leveraging its own blast furnace slag resources, decided to build an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly large-scale slag micro-powder production line. The core objective of the project is the large-scale, stable production of high-quality S95 grade and above slag powder to replace traditional cement clinker. After comprehensive technical demonstration, the client ultimately selected Cronus Machinery's integrated CRLM Large Vertical Mill system solution, which combines drying, grinding, and classification.

Project Details
Blast Furnace Slag → Raw Material Shed → Drying System → Enclosed Batch Feeder → Vertical Mill
Blast furnace slag undergoes pre-homogenization in the raw material shed, followed by moisture reduction via the drying system. It is then fed into the CRLM Vertical Mill via the enclosed batch feeder for grinding and pulverization, while hot air is used to further dry the material. The ground slag powder undergoes precise classification via the classifier. Unqualified coarse slag powder is returned for re-grinding, while qualified 325 mesh slag micro-powder is carried out with the airflow, ensuring the finished product's specific surface area stably reaches 450 m²/kg.

Subsequently, the qualified slag micro-powder is separated and collected by the dust collection system.
