Project Overview

To meet the stringent demand for ultrafine, high-purity raw materials in high-end industries such as lithium-ion battery anodes and specialty graphite, a high-tech carbon materials enterprise in Guangxi decided to build a petroleum coke ultrafine grinding production line. After rigorous comparison, the client introduced the CRHGM Ultrafine Grinding Mill from Cronus Machinery, which can stably produce high-end powder of 1500 mesh (D97) with a power consumption of only 35 kW·h per ton.

Project Details

Petroleum Coke Raw Material → Feeding System → Ultrafine Grinding Mill

Petroleum coke material is fed into the CRHGM Ultrafine Grinding Mill via the feeding system for grinding and pulverization. To address the characteristics of petroleum coke, the grinding components feature a wear-resistant liner design, effectively countering the abrasiveness of the material and ensuring powder purity. The ground petroleum coke powder is carried by the airflow into a high-precision classifier. By adjusting the classifier speed, the fineness of the petroleum coke powder can be precisely controlled to stably reach 1500 mesh (D97 ≤10μm). Unqualified coarse petroleum coke powder is separated and returned to the grinding zone, achieving a closed-circuit cycle.

Cyclone Collector → Pulse-Jet Bag Filter → Petroleum Coke Ultrafine Powder

Subsequently, the cyclone collector and pulse-jet bag filter collect the petroleum coke ultrafine powder, achieving a total finished product collection rate exceeding 99.9% for the system.
