—— Cronus Machine Customer
Project Overview
To stably supply high-quality combustion aids, a carbon materials supplier in Guangdong built a specialized large-scale production line for processing mixed petroleum coke. After comprehensive comparison, the client selected the CRRM1620 Raymond Mill from Cronus as the core equipment. This production line can stably process a mixture of shot coke and sponge coke into 200 mesh petroleum coke powder, achieving an output of 10~12 t/h, fully meeting the specific requirements for combustion aids.

Project Introduction
Petroleum Coke Raw Material → Feeder → Raymond Mill
Petroleum coke raw material is fed into the CRRM1620 Raymond Mill via the feeder for grinding and pulverization. The ground petroleum coke powder passes through the air ring device. Petroleum coke fine powder meeting the 200 mesh fineness is carried away by the airflow and discharged from the mill, while unqualified coarse petroleum coke powder (larger and heavier particles) falls back into the mill due to gravity, unable to be carried by the airflow, and continues to be ground, forming a closed-circuit circulation.
Air Ring → Fan and Piping System → Collection System (Cyclone Collector + Bag Filter)
Subsequently, the qualified petroleum coke fine powder enters the subsequent collection system via the fan and piping system. Typically, a cyclone collector and a pulse-jet bag filter are employed, ensuring a total finished product recovery rate exceeding 99%.
Equipment Name | Function Description |
Feeder | Feeding and conveying equipment |
CRRM1620 Raymond Mill | Utilizes the air-swept grinding principle, combining grinding roller compression and air ring airflow classification |
Air Ring Device | "Air-sweeps" the petroleum coke fine powder out of the mill, achieving internal circulation for grinding |
Fan and Piping System | Provides stable airflow for the entire air-swept grinding, conveying, and classification system |
Cyclone Collector | Separates and collects the majority of petroleum coke fine powder |
Pulse-Jet Bag Filter | Recovers petroleum coke ultra-fine powder and treats excess dust |
Project Advantages
Air-Swept Grinding: The CRRM1620 Raymond Mill employs the air-swept grinding and internal circulation classification principle. Through the synergistic action of grinding roller compression and air ring airflow, it effectively handles mixed materials of shot coke and sponge coke with different hardness and density.
Precise and Stable: Through precise control of air ring airflow speed and mill parameters, the fineness of the finished powder is ensured to stably reach 200 mesh.
