The Sales Manager Who Knows Grinding Mills Best

In 1984, at the age of 19, Liu Yanjun graduated at the top of her class from a technical school and was assigned to Cronus Machinery as a fitter. Fitter was widely recognized as a tough, dirty, and demanding role in grinding mill production, typically dominated by men. When she first joined, some predicted she "wouldn't last long." However, with unwavering perseverance, Liu Yanjun worked as a fitter for three full years, during which she mastered the processing and assembly skills of core grinding mill components and gained a deep understanding of the fundamental principles of mechanical manufacturing.

In her spare time, she self-studied academic subjects. In 1987, she achieved the highest score in the Guilin region in the entrance examination and was admitted to Huazhong University of Science and Technology to major in Mechanical Manufacturing, where she systematically studied the design and manufacturing knowledge of grinding equipment. After completing her studies, Liu Yanjun returned to Cronus Machinery, taking on an assembly technical role and leading the assembly and commissioning of various mill models. These experiences laid a solid foundation for her future career in grinding equipment sales.

34 Years in Sales, Setting Industry Benchmark Achievements

In 1992, Cronus Machinery established its sales department. Liu Yanjun was selected based on her strong technical skills, embarking on a 34-year sales career. She faced initial challenges but quickly broke through: in her first year, she secured over 10 million yuan in orders, accounting for more than 50% of the factory's total, becoming the first non-frontline worker to be recognized as a model. For over three decades since, her sales performance has consistently ranked among the top two.

Behind her impressive achievements lies years of hard work on the front line. In the early days, domestic transportation and accommodation infrastructure were inadequate. Mines and powder processing plants were often located in remote mountainous areas, making business trips difficult and risky. To reach clients, she once traveled alone to Xinjiang, staying in a hotel room with no windows or lock, using a stool to brace the door against an unsettling night. She also once walked 5 kilometers down a pitch-black mountain road. Despite numerous difficulties, she always remained committed to her responsibilities and never gave up.

Providing Professional Grinding Solutions with Sincere Service

Reflecting on her over 40-year career at Cronus Machinery, Liu Yanjun states that treating every customer with sincerity, providing comprehensive service throughout the grinding equipment lifecycle, and adhering to the service philosophy of "urgently addressing customer needs and thinking from their perspective" are key to earning positive customer feedback.

The stable operation of grinding equipment directly impacts customer production efficiency. To ensure the timely delivery of spare parts, she once waited for over two hours in heavy wind and rain by a main road, holding core Raymond mill components, until she could place them on a direct bus for immediate shipment. On another occasion, after a customer had visited the Cronus Machinery factory and received an invitation from a competitor manufacturer, she openly and sincerely offered to drive the customer there. However, halfway through the journey, the customer actively requested to return to Cronus Machinery to sign a mill purchase contract, stating: "If a company has a salesperson as excellent as you, their grinding mills must be reliable."

Her utmost integrity and service have earned her long-term, deep trust from customers. A powder processing customer from Shandong, whom she had never met, decided on an order for 5 Raymond mills after only phone discussions about performance, pricing, and after-sales service. Despite the customer not visiting the factory, she strictly followed the company's standard procedures, fulfilling delivery, installation, and commissioning with guaranteed quality. Later, when Liu Yanjun traveled to Shandong to visit the market, this customer specifically arranged for an employee to drive for her for three days, helping promote Cronus Machinery's grinding equipment. Furthermore, just before her departure, the customer signed another purchase contract, this time for a large Raymond mill.
