Roots Blower
Features and Advantages of Roots Blower
Stable Fineness: The "hard pressure" characteristic of the Roots blower provides constant air volume and velocity, ensuring precise particle size separation by the classifier and enabling continuous, stable separation of qualified and unqualified powder particles.
Efficient Grinding: Carries qualified fine powder away from the grinding disc, preventing over-grinding and enhancing grinding efficiency, thereby increasing the output of the Raymond mill.
Precise Control: Allows linear and accurate air volume control by adjusting motor speed via a variable frequency drive (VFD), adapting to different materials and fineness requirements in grinding operations.
Stable Operation: When system resistance increases, the air volume decline of a Roots blower is significantly smaller than that of centrifugal fans, enabling the Raymond mill to maintain normal operation until cleaning and maintenance.
Working Principle of Roots Blower
Synchronized Rotors: A pair of timing gears drives two rotors to rotate in opposite directions at equal speeds, periodically forming sealed air chambers that forcibly push gas from the inlet to the outlet.
Constant Flow & Hard Pressure: Output air volume is determined solely by rotational speed and is independent of system resistance. When pressure rises, torque increases automatically to maintain stable air volume, providing hard pressure conveying capability.
Linear Frequency Control: Air volume output is linearly and precisely controlled by adjusting motor speed via a variable frequency drive, enabling flexible regulation.
