Powder Granulator
Features and Advantages of Powder Granulator
Uniform Granulation: The powder granulator enables successful granulation of most materials into spherical particles with uniform size and high visual quality.
Adjustable Strength: The mechanical strength of granules can be precisely adjusted by controlling the type and dosage of binder, as well as the pressure and rolling time during granulation.
Convenient and Efficient: The powder granulator can be seamlessly integrated with equipment such as Raymond mills, dryers, and packaging machines to achieve continuous, large-scale production. By changing molds or adjusting parameters, a single granulator can process multiple materials with different properties.
Energy-Saving and Environmentally Friendly: The granulation process is carried out in an enclosed or semi-enclosed environment with minimal dust emission. Post-granulation significantly reduces transportation and storage energy consumption for the system.
Working Principle of Powder Granulator
Moisture-Based Agglomeration: Powder is uniformly wetted through atomized binder, inducing initial agglomeration to form micro-nuclei as the foundation for growth.
Growth and Spheronization: Micro-nuclei continuously collide under mechanical forces, merging and growing in size. Under the combined action of surface tension and shearing forces, they gradually become spherical.
Drying and Solidification: Granules undergo mechanical tumbling and compaction to eliminate internal voids. They are finally solidified through drying, yielding dense and regular finished granules.
