Powder Dryer
Features and Advantages of Powder Dryers
High Processing Capacity: The dryer handles several tons to hundreds of tons of material per hour, making it suitable for medium to large-scale grinding production lines.
Powerful Drying Performance: Its unique lifting plate system inside the drum continuously scoops and cascades material, forming a uniform curtain for thorough heat exchange with hot air. It works excellently for granular materials and delivers outstanding results for sticky or lumpy materials like clay and slag.
Uniform and Stable Drying: Material is constantly turned and dispersed inside the drum, ensuring dynamic, even heating. This prevents common static drying issues like localized overdrying or uneven moisture, guaranteeing consistent final product moisture content.
Convenient and Flexible Operation: With adjustable parameters like drum speed, hot air temperature, and feed rate (material layer thickness), it allows precise control to adapt to varying initial moisture, powder specifications, and output changes, offering strong process adaptability.
Working Principle of Powder Dryers
Drum Rotation: Drum rotation and internal lifting devices disperse material into a uniform curtain, enabling efficient convective heat exchange with high-temperature hot air.
Gradient Dehydration: Surface moisture evaporates first upon heating, while internal moisture migrates to the surface driven by temperature and concentration gradients, enabling continuous dehydration from the inside out.
Hot Air Drying: Evaporated water vapor is promptly carried away by flowing hot air, maintaining a low-humidity environment inside the drum and ensuring high drying efficiency.
