Belt Conveyor
Features and Advantages of Belt Conveyor
Long-Distance Conveying: Compared to other conveying equipment, belt conveyors offer lower energy consumption and better economic efficiency for long-distance, high-capacity horizontal transport.
Smooth Conveying: The belt's flexible contact with materials ensures stable operation with low breakage rates and significantly reduced noise compared to chain or screw conveyors.
Automatic Control: Can be integrated with devices such as electronic belt scales to achieve quantitative and uniform feeding, facilitating automation control in grinding production lines.
Simple Structure: Features a straightforward design and mature technology, allowing for easy daily maintenance and replacement of wear parts. It can be seamlessly integrated with iron removers to enhance powder purity.
Working Principle of Belt Conveyor
Friction Drive: The motor and drum drive the belt, relying on friction to keep the belt in continuous motion. A tensioning device at the tail end ensures proper belt tension to prevent slipping.
Continuous Conveying: Materials are fed onto the belt through an inlet and transported forward on supporting idlers, achieving smooth and uninterrupted transport.
Automatic Discharge: Materials are naturally discharged at the head drum and directed into the next equipment via the outlet. The empty belt returns to the starting point along the bottom idlers, forming a continuous process cycle.
