CRS Sand Making Machine Information Introduction

The CRS Sand Making Machine System is a new-generation sand production system independently developed by Cronus Machinery based on decades of experience in sand and aggregate production lines. It innovatively integrates multiple functions including high-efficiency sand making, precision classification, fines recovery, and environmental dust collection into one unit.

CRS Sand Making Machine

This system not only produces high-quality fine sand but also converts waste fines from traditional sand making processes into directly saleable high value-added products, achieving high resource utilization and a clean production environment.

Features and Advantages of CRS Sand Making Machine

Fines Recovery: Equipped with high-efficiency sand making and air classification systems. While producing fine sand, it can classify the generated fines in real time into marketable finished powders of specifications such as 150 mesh, 200 mesh, and 325 mesh, achieving high resource utilization.

Superior Quality: The sand products produced are predominantly cubic with well-rounded particle shapes. The fineness and fines content of the finished sand products are precisely controllable, meeting the requirements of various applications.

Powerful Drying: The unique recirculating sand making mechanism generates an operating temperature of approximately 70°C within the main unit. Material moisture evaporates naturally during the crushing process, allowing direct processing of high-moisture materials (e.g., wet clay) without the need for upstream drying equipment.

High Efficiency and Stability: Incorporates pre-screening treatment to effectively reduce the load on downstream vibrating screens, prevent clogging, and improve overall screening efficiency and screen service life.

Working Principle of CRS Sand Making Machine

Raw Material → Screening & Decontamination → Crushing & Shaping → Air Classification → Sand-Powder Separation → Fines Recovery → Simultaneous Sand and Powder Production

Screening & Decontamination

Raw material meeting the size requirement (≤15mm) first undergoes pre-screening treatment via a vibrating screen to separate a portion of qualified sand products, reducing the load on subsequent processes.

Crushing & Shaping

The pre-screened material enters the CRS Sand Making Machine for crushing and shaping. Simultaneously, heat generated from crushing friction (approx. 70°C) causes instantaneous evaporation of material moisture, achieving powerful self-drying.

Air Classification

The crushed mixture enters the core air classification zone under airflow. Qualified sand particles are separated via airflow, achieving sand-powder separation, while finer dust (fines) is carried by the airflow to the dust collection system.

Fines Recovery

The dust collection system consists of a cyclone collector and a baghouse filter. It efficiently captures sand making fines of 150-325 mesh while purifying exhaust dust, ensuring emissions comply with national standards.

Simultaneous Sand and Powder Production

Finally, the classified fine sand products and recovered fines powder are discharged via separate independent discharge systems and conveyed to different finished product silos, achieving simultaneous sand and powder production.

Application Scenarios for CRS Sand Making Machine

Raw Material → Jaw Crusher → Cone Crusher → Vibrating Screen → Traditional Sand Making Machine → Vibrating Screen → Raymond Mill

Traditional sand making machines typically operate in conjunction with Raymond mills to achieve sand and powder co-production, where screened sand making fines are fed into the Raymond mill for grinding. The CRS Sand Making Machine, however, can directly recover and utilize sand making fines of 150-325 mesh. It is typically not linked with a Raymond mill but is instead directly applied in simultaneous sand and powder production lines, significantly reducing investment costs.

Frequently Asked Questions about Sand Making Machines

What is the difference between the CRS Sand Making Machine and traditional sand making machines?

CRS Sand Making Machine: An integrated sand and powder co-production system combining high-efficiency sand making, air classification, and fines recovery. It not only produces high-quality fine sand but also recovers sand making fines for sale as finished products, achieving full resource utilization and high economic benefits.

Traditional Sand Making Machine: A single-function crushing and shaping device primarily processing raw materials into sand-aggregate mixtures. The fines generated during its production process are typically treated as waste, requiring additional dust collection and screening systems, resulting in low resource utilization.

Can the CRS Sand Making Machine directly process high-moisture materials?

Traditional sand making machines cannot and should avoid processing high-moisture materials. However, through its unique recirculating crushing and high-speed impact friction mechanism, the CRS Sand Making Machine naturally generates 60~70°C of heat within the main unit, causing material moisture to evaporate synchronously during the crushing process. While not entirely equivalent to a powerful dryer, it effectively processes moist materials (such as raw materials that have been sun-dried but not completely dried). In many cases, it can directly process high-moisture materials without requiring upstream drying equipment.

Is a sand making machine a crusher?

A sand making machine is a type of crusher, specifically a tertiary crushing and shaping equipment. It is typically positioned at the end of multi-stage crushing circuits, processing small-sized material pre-treated by primary and secondary crushing into fine sand products of 4~200 mesh. It is the core equipment in sand and aggregate production lines.
